Cream and Brown Simple Hand Drawn Beauty

welcome, dear heart

we are women, and my plea is let me be a woman, holy through and through, asking for nothing but what God wants to give me, receiving with both hands and with all my heart whatever that is.

The Spiritual Woman is both a devotional blog and a place of community for women of God. Those whose hearts yearn to seek Him with all of their heart and allow Him, by the Spirit, to mold them into women of true excellence. A spiritual woman is one who lives in her new nature, filled with the Spirit, and gets glory for God by being the gorgeous, unique, truly feminine He created her to be.

I'm Maria Whittaker!

I am the writer of this blog and I'm so thankful you have been led here, now. My goal to write not from myself, but to proclaim the truths of the Bible in a clear and relatable way. Stick around and I pray God will use this space to bless you richly.

My prayer is that every woman led here chooses the agathos portion.

Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
